Good Morning Cedar Grove Family!

Once again, we had a wonderful time of worship and fellowship together. I am grateful that we can gather freely and edify one another. Why? Because life gets tough. And doing tough things alone makes that tough thing even tougher! So, thank you for being so faithful to each other.

This morning I would like to encourage you to “make the connection.” If there is anything the church needs to do more of it is reaching out to each others throughout the week. Now, I understand we have work, families, appointments, and many other things going on. Trust me, I get it! But could it be that the very thing we claim is being a productive person is causing us to be unproductive believers? This thought has been ringing in my mind this morning. Do I keep myself so busy as to miss what really matters. For those who have instantly got their feathers ruffled, I am not advocating quitting your job or all of your other things. I am challenging however, to live intentionally for Jesus. Who knows the impact you could make with just a simple phone call. It might be refreshing to have a conversation thats not negative for once! That quick text could make all the difference. Reaching out and scheduling a dinner is difficult, but could be massively positive in someone’s life. So, will you make the connection? I pray we do.

I would like to remind you that tonight there is a counselor training at FBC Lebanon starting at 6 if you haven’t already been trained. The Crusade is NEXT WEEK! So please be prepared spiritually and physically to be a part of it.

Tonight, we canvass! Starting at 6 we will put out 1,000 door hangers with information about Jesus, the Crusade, and Cedar Grove. Be there! The More people we have the more effective we will be.

May 18th is Vision Sunday. Please be praying on how you can be involved financially. We hope to have the playground completed by VBS! Our goal for that day is $12,000

We had 11 students go to the rally last night! Praise the Lord. Continue to pray for our youth ministry.

I love you and am thankful for you. As always, happy in the Lord, amen. Buh-bye.
