Good Morning Cedar Grove Family!
Let's take a moment to appreciate yesterday's gathering to worship and hearing the Word. May we never become apathetic to what an immense blessing it is to be able to do that freely. That said, today is the day. I pray that you left yesterday having decided to be fully devoted to Jesus. If there is spiritual compromise in your life, fix it. We cannot be divided. Jesus demands all of us.
I know sometimes it seems overwhelming the decisions we have to make as believers. Reprioritizing is never an easy process. We have to be concerned about things that those who are lost do not. Our life has been bought and sealed by God! What a blessing. Also, what a responsibility. May we be ambassadors of Jesus Christ today to whoever God puts us in front of. Let's not miss one opportunity to exalt the name of Jesus. Let's not miss one conversation to share the good news. Let's not neglect to use the gifts God has given us. Let's live today like we only have today!
A statement I want to remind you of this morning: "we live in a world where we disguise idolatry as responsibility." (don't do that)
Now for your morning's scripture to challenge and encourage: Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him And he shall direct thy paths.
I love you Cedar Grove family! Have a great Monday and let's approach this new year with intentionality, perseverance, and anticipation. GOD CAN!
Happy in the Lord, amen. Buh-Bye
