Well Happy Monday!

Yesterday was an amazing day of fellowship, worship and the Word of God. We had a great crowd and a spirit of reverence toward God. He is worthy of it all. We also dedicated our playground to the Lord! May we never take for granted the blessings God has given us on this hill. Hear me when I say this... most would say we are in a bad location. "Off the beaten path." "No one knows where we are." "How can you grow a ministry here." This is all things I've heard and honestly understand. I've got two words for you this morning: BUT GOD. I don't know exactly what the future holds, but I know God is the God of possible. I know people are coming to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior. I know our children ministries are growing and thriving. I know our baptisms are up in number. I know God is working.

The best way for that to continue is through YOU. Continue to walk with the Lord. Continue to invite people to church. Continue to disciple new believers. If you haven't done any of these things, start today! Do not let sin reign in your life, but rather God. Remember our text from yesterday:

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is sfreed from sin.

The Holy Bible: King James Version, Electronic Edition of the 1900 Authorized Version. (Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc., 2009), Ro 6:5–7.

Live free in Christ. Sin has no power over us. Sin has no effectiveness over us. That is, unless we allow it to. Stand strong and walk on with Jesus today!

I love this chorus from our worship team yesterday:

You are holy great and mighty
The moon and the stars declare who You are
I'm so unworthy, but still You love me
Forever my heart will sing of how great You are

Yes and amen! I love you Cedar Grove and pray that you have a great Monday serving our Lord Jesus Christ! Pray for me and Heather as we pour into 25 students today through Wednesday. Happy in the Lord, amen. Buh-Bye.
